The Music Ministry of Springfield Baptist Church includes choirs from children to Senior Adults as well as instrumental music programs.  Our church is a singing church.  At Springfield, we lift our voices in choirs and congregation to the glory of God.  Within our choirs we strive to:

• Sing whole heartedly to our God
• Worship through song and lead our congregation in worship
• Provide training, development and appreciation for music
• Present a buffet of musical styles through a diverse repertoire
• Build friendship, fellowship and provide opportunities for Christian service.

To initiate membership:

• Sit in on a rehearsal of the choir of interest
• Notify the Minister of Music of your desire to join.
• Schedule an interview with the choir coordinator after your initial rehearsal
• A voice screening will be scheduled if needed. This will help us determine what voice part you are most comfortable singing.
• A copy of the music ministry manual will be supplied to you.  This document contains pertinent information for all who are a part of the music ministry.
• After the necessary documentation has been completed and processed, you will be introduced as a member of the music ministry.
